Overview
Set on a corner lot townhouse property, this project required a thoughtful approach to maximize a limited backyard footprint while accommodating the substantial presence of a swim spa. The goal was to create a space that felt balanced, stylish, and comfortable, without allowing the scale of the spa to overwhelm the overall design.
To achieve this, the swim spa was partially recessed into the landscape, while an armour stone wall and integrated steps were introduced to soften its visual impact and create a more grounded, intentional composition. A dedicated seating area adds comfort and function, while a mix of stone sizes and colour tones within the patio brings depth, texture, and character to the space. Finished with integrated landscape lighting, the result is a compact backyard that feels polished, inviting, and beautifully composed both day and night.
