Set within a property framed by a beautiful natural bush line, this project called for a landscape that would complement the home’s rustic modern architecture and feel fully connected to its surroundings. The objective was to create an outdoor environment that felt substantial, refined, and in harmony with both the house and the land.
Natural armour stone was used extensively throughout the front and backyard to build strong, textural garden walls that anchor the landscape and reinforce its architectural character. In the front, chunky entry steps were installed to match the scale of the home, while gardens and planting add softness, depth, and a more welcoming sense of arrival. In the backyard, a custom pool with water jets, a gazebo, a sauna, an outdoor kitchen, carefully selected slab inlays, and layered gardens and planting come together to create a highly livable outdoor retreat. Integrated landscape lighting elevates the entire property after dark, giving it the feel of a private resort while highlighting the materials, forms, and setting that make the space so distinctive.
