Overview
Working with a heavily sloped backyard and an existing deck, this project required a thoughtful design approach to turn a challenging space into one that felt functional, balanced, and visually striking. The goal was to make the most of a smaller footprint while creating a layout that felt intentional, refined, and highly usable.
A beautifully integrated pool became the focal point of the space, framed by a substantial accent wall featuring three waterfalls that bring movement, sound, and a strong architectural presence to the backyard. Careful grading and layout planning transformed the steep terrain into a well-composed outdoor environment that feels both efficient and inviting. Finished with landscape lighting, the result is a compact yet sophisticated backyard that now lives beautifully and makes a strong visual impact.
