Overview
This project was envisioned as a timeless outdoor living space, grounded in clean geometry, strong focal elements, and a balanced mix of modern structure and relaxed comfort. The design approach emphasized simplicity and elegance, with each zone thoughtfully arranged to create a cohesive and inviting backyard experience. Because the client wanted to keep the existing pergola, the design was carefully developed around it, allowing it to remain an integrated part of the finished space.
Modern rectangular slabs establish the primary framework of the space, while a striking accent wall creates a refined backdrop for the lounge area. A separate dining space introduces added character through the use of a smaller, uniquely shaped slab, bringing subtle contrast and visual interest to the overall composition. Edging stones define the garden beds with clarity, modern stepping stones guide movement from the pool patio to the shed, and a centrally positioned fire pit area creates a natural gathering place for quiet evenings outdoors. The result is a landscape that feels polished, enduring, and effortlessly welcoming.
