Overview
Starting from a blank canvas on a new-build property, this project was designed to deliver a minimalist landscape that still felt substantial enough to match the scale of the home and surrounding grounds. The vision centered on clean lines, restrained material selection, and a composition that would feel both modern and inviting.
Large 3' x 3' pavers were used to establish a bold architectural framework around the pool, paired with a wood-look slab laid in a herringbone pattern to introduce warmth and texture. Decorative boulders were thoughtfully integrated to soften the overall composition, while a large shade structure provides relief from the sun and creates a future home for an outdoor kitchen. Finished with carefully considered planting, the result is a refined outdoor space that feels balanced, intentional, and striking in its simplicity.
