Designed by renowned landscape designer Welwyn Wong and executed by our team, this project reimagined a basic, sinking front walkway as a bold and architecturally proportioned entrance experience more fitting for the scale and presence of the home. The goal was to create a stronger sense of arrival through more substantial forms, refined detailing, and a cohesive relationship between the hardscape and the house itself.
The transformation included cladding the existing concrete porch, constructing a substantial garden wall, and introducing a feature wall that ties into a pillar displaying the house number. Integrated lighting was built into both the steps and walls to enhance safety and create a warm, elevated presence after dark. Thoughtful paver detailing within the driveway helped visually connect the entire composition, resulting in a front entrance that feels timeless, substantial, and beautifully resolved.
